Foursquare is now promoting the brands you can connect with on their front page. The best thing about this is that anyone looking to sign up or login will see these as they do so. It would be better if they moved them up to the top above the page fold so they can get a better brand-consumer conversion rate.

 

With this change they've also changed their 'Follow' link to a huge green 'Follow' button, which is much easier to find.
